Exercise Pill: Gain without Pain!?

This video was inspired by a recent article one of my clients showed me titled, “The Exercise Pill: The search for a drug to replace workouts” from the Nov 6, 2017 edition of the New Yorker. I read the article and found it very intriguing but also very confirming with a lot of my own research and application of this evidence. I’ve known about PPAR’s and Irisin for years, and here comes an article talking about these same fat-burning substances. Well, in this video I summarize the key points of the article along with providing my own evidence of how we can achieve improved health and leanness through a plant-based diet (doesn’t need to be vegan) and effective exercise (HIIT and/or low-moderate intensity interval training).
