This mask is a perfect anti-aging mask that takes care of dull, skin prone to wrinkles, acne/acne scars and dark spots.
Cinnamon plumps up the skin and dries out pimples. It helps bring oxygen and blood to the surface, leaving your skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated. Keep in mind though, cinnamon on the face stings for a lot of people – so it’s a good idea to only leave this mask on your face till it’s tolerable for you, even if it’s only for a few minutes.
Rose water is a natural toner, sooths skin and an ingredient in natural anti-aging serums.
Yoghurt balances out the effect of the cinnamon and prevents the skin from getting inflamed or drying out.
To 1 tbsp of ground flax seed, add 1 tbsp water, 1 tbsp rose water and 1 tbsp yoghurt. Let it be till it acquires a gel-like consistency. When you’re ready to put it on your face, add just a teaspoon of cinnamon into the mix.
Let it sit on the face till it dries out OR till the cinnamon begins to tingle.
Wash off and pat dry to reveal glowing, smooth and rejuvenated skin. The skin benefits of flax seeds are boosted big time by the rose water and cinnamon in this mask.
